Founder & Executive Director – Cleveland C. Williams, Sr.

Williams Life Center, Inc. (WLC) was established in 1998 due to Mr. Williams’ strong desire to assist disadvantaged and troubled youth in need of positive role models, support, structure and appropriate discipline. Mr. Williams has over 20 years experience in the field of human services and has dedicated his life to developing programs to serve disadvantaged youth. He is responsible for overall leadership of staff in the development and implementation of short and long range plans and organizational policies. Mr. Williams is highly involved in the community and speaks to youth groups nationwide. He takes pride in ensuring that all of the programs under the WLC umbrella are strength-based, family focused, and relevant to the needs of the population we serve. His vision has paved the way and set the standard for high quality care and accountability within the organization.

Program Director – Erika Braswell

Erika Braswell is the Program Director for the Williams Life Center, Inc. (WLC) Treatment Foster Care (TFC) Program.  She is also a Licensed Social Worker in the State of Maryland.  She received a Bachelor of Science in Family Studies from the University of Maryland, College Park and a Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore.  She has over six years of experience in working with children and families.  Ms. Braswell’s curriculum vitae includes her work with the Prince George’s County Department of Social Services, The Foundation Schools, the United States House of Representatives and the Montgomery County Circuit Court.  As TFC Program Director, Ms. Braswell defines roles and responsibilities, and provides supervision and oversight to the TFC Program.  She develops and organizes staff and foster parent training.  She also maintains the program budgets, plans and administers projects for the overall program.  Ms. Braswell is dedicated to enhancing services that ensure child safety, permanency and well-bring.

Clinical Director – Leora Braden Ibraheem

Leora Braden Ibraheem is the Clinical Director for the William’s Life Center, Inc. She is an Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical in Maryland and has more than 12 years of experience working with children, youth and families. Throughout her professional career Ms. Ibraheem has demonstrated a strong commitment to improving outcomes for one of this country’s most vulnerable populations; children involved in the child welfare system. Prior to her professional career, Ms. Ibraheem completed her undergraduate studies at Washington State University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and she earned a Master’s of Social Work from Florida State University. In her role as Clinical Director, Ms. Ibraheem ensures best practice standards are met and quality therapeutic care is provided for clients within the Treatment Foster Care and Group Home Programs.
