Williams Life Center, Inc. is seeking highly qualified individuals for the following two (2) positions:
1. Licensed Social Workers- *MUST have a LGSW or LCSW/LCSW-C in Maryland
• The successful candidate will provide comprehensive case management for children placed in our foster care programs in an attempt to improve their quality of life and maintain the highest possible ability to function within the community. The candidate will conduct all intake activity, assess the child for program appropriateness, match the child with a suitable family, and develop and monitor an individualized treatment plan for the child in placement. Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Excellent computer skills (Microsoft products).
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited university.
*LGSW or LCSW/LCSW-C in Maryland.
Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft products).
Acceptable driving record and dependable transportation.
Experience working with disadvantaged children and youth.
Must be able to pass Physical exams, Drug Screening, and Background checks.

DESIRED SKILLS (NOT REQUIRED):

*The job is located in Greenbelt, MD and requires the candidate to travel to various locations in the state of MD. The candidate must be able to work in a fast paced environment, utilizing good organizational, and creative problem resolution skills. Competitive salary and benefits.
2. Child Care Worker for 24-hour Residential Program.
• The successful candidates will provide daily coverage and supportive services to the residents of WLC Group Home program. Child Care Worker will work alongside members in the residence to perform the tasks necessary for the upkeep of the residence i.e. keeping areas clean and tidy, maintain the well-being of the residents (ensuring the safety of the residents), preparation of nutritional meals; provide hands-on guidance and supervision to residents, teach residents daily living skills, transporting residents to medical appointments, and assist residents with meeting their residential service goals.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Must possess a High School Diploma and be at least 21 years of age.
Experience working with disadvantaged children and youth.
Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Acceptable driving record and dependable transportation.
Must be able to pass Physical exams, Drug Screening, and Background checks.
Possess ability to work in diverse setting and understand cultural differences.
DESIRED SKILLS (NOT REQUIRED):
Bachelor’s degree in human services degree such as social work, sociology, psychology etc. from an accredited university.
