The mission of Williams Life Center, Inc. is to provide the opportunity for youth to emulate positive and productive role models, in safe environments, in an effort to reach personal and therapeutic goals aimed at enhancing their lives and the lives of others.
The vision of Williams Life Center, Inc. is to create a continuum of care, enabling us to provide an array of therapeutic, intensive and specialized services to meet the diverse and unique needs of the children we serve. It is our vision that these services are strength-based, client-centered, reality-based, culturally competent and multi-faceted, and provided throughout the United States, enabling us to make a positive life changing, and memorable contribution to children, families, and the human services field.
The Williams Life Center, Inc. (WLC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation established in 1998 for the expressed purpose of serving youth and families in the Washington Metropolitan area. The Williams Life Center, Inc. has its’ roots in the firm belief that children and families have the opportunity to receive services and supports in the home and community-based settings, regardless of the complexity of their conditions, the level of their disabilities, or the challenges of their behaviors. The programs are highly structured and specifically designed to assist youth with identifying and building upon their inherent strengths, addressing and resolving issues related to their past, preventing institutionalization, and facilitating a healing process. The agency is comprised of two separate and distinct programs, a Residential Program and a Treatment Foster Care Program.
